Rev. Frederick Walter Cleveland

Rev. Frederick Walter Cleveland was born in London on 29th January 1888 and died at No. 2 British Red Cross Hospital, Rouen, on 11th October 1918 while serving in the Army in France.

He was the curate at St. Wulstan Longbridge Hayes (which was a daughter church of St. Andrews) and here he would have come into contact with some of the Scouts and became the Troop’s Chaplin and probably Assistant Scout Master.
