The Group carried on uneventfully for a number of years, but sadly in the autumn of 2005 the Scout Troop lead by Nick Wood had to close due to lack of Leaders. Nick then became Group Scout Leader.

Thankfully, the Troop was able to restart again at the beginning of 2007 when John Champ came forward to be Leader with Paul Hickton as Assistant. Paul was available as our old friends from 50th Bradwell closed, again due to lack of Leaders (sadly a common theme).

2007 was the Centenary of Scouting and we took part in many activities to celebrate this amazing event. Young Leader Rachael Hickton went to the World Jamboree in Essex.
